To
much is given, much is expected….”
I
was taught from a very young age the importance of giving
back. We can
all make a difference in this changing and difficult world
we now live in; one
person at a time in our own back yards and communities.
We live in a dying world where hope is sometimes lost
and forgotten. Time
is tough, I know, many of us lead busy lives.
I think we’ve been too busy for a long time –
give it some thought, reach into your heart and find a way,
a simple way to help change the life of a child, a
family member, a friend, a stranger.
Each one of us is unique with our own set of
wonderful gifts to share.
This world needs you.
I've
listed a few charities whose causes speak to my heart.

The Wildwoods Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated
to fostering a young urban population that is concerned
with the well being of their surroundings, both the
natural world and their own urban community. Their
flagship program is Full Circle, a character development
and community-building program for elementary school
classrooms. Using a combination of field trips to local parks
along with classroom and community activities, Full
Circle explores the connections and parallels between
nature and personal behavior.
